  • 3/4 cup unsweetened applesauce (or soft cooked apple)
  • 1 1/2 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 1/3 cup cold whole milk
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch ground nutmeg
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup

Method
 

  1. Add the applesauce, vanilla ice cream, milk, cinnamon, and nutmeg to the blender.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy, about 20 to 30 seconds.
  3. Pour into a chilled glass and serve immediately, topped with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
