Bubble Gum Milkshake

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream (slightly softened)
  • 1/2 cup whole milk (more for a thinner shake)
  • 1/2 teaspoon bubble gum flavoring (or extract)
  • A few drops of pink food coloring (optional)
  • Pinch of salt
  • Whipped cream and gumball or bubble gum candy, for serving (optional)

Method
 

  1. Have your bubble gum flavoring and food coloring measured out and ready, since this shake comes together quickly.
  2. Add the ice cream, milk, bubble gum flavoring, food coloring, and salt to a blender.
  3. Blend on high for 20–30 seconds until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides if needed.
  4. Taste and adjust — add more flavoring for a stronger bubble gum taste or more milk for a thinner consistency.
  5. Pour into a chilled glass, top with whipped cream and a gumball or bubble gum candy, and serve immediately.
