Caramel Latte Milkshake

Your favorite coffee-shop caramel latte, reinvented as a thick and creamy milkshake you can blend at home in 5 minutes.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream (slightly softened)
  • 1/2 cup whole milk (more for a thinner shake)
  • 2 shots espresso, cooled (or 2 tablespoons instant espresso powder)
  • 3 tablespoons caramel sauce, plus extra for drizzling
  • Pinch of salt
  • Whipped cream, for serving (optional)

Method
 

  1. Brew your espresso and let it cool for a few minutes before blending, or dissolve instant espresso powder in a small amount of the milk.
  2. Add the ice cream, milk, cooled espresso, caramel sauce, and salt to a blender.
  3. Blend on high for 20–30 seconds until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides if needed.
  4. Taste and adjust — add more caramel for extra sweetness or more espresso for a stronger coffee kick.
  5. Pour into a chilled glass, drizzle with extra caramel sauce, top with whipped cream, and serve immediately.
