Ingredients

  • 1 large ripe banana, frozen (for a thicker shake)
  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream (slightly softened)
  • 1/2 cup whole milk (more for a thinner shake)
  • 2–3 tablespoons peanut butter (creamy or crunchy)
  • Pinch of salt
  • Whipped cream and a drizzle of peanut butter, for serving (optional)

Method

  1. Freeze your banana ahead of time — slice it first, then freeze for at least 2 hours for a thicker, colder shake.
  2. Add the frozen banana, ice cream, milk, peanut butter, and salt to a blender.
  3. Blend on high for 20–30 seconds until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides if needed.
  4. Taste and adjust — add more peanut butter for extra richness or more milk for a thinner consistency.
  5. Pour into a chilled glass, top with whipped cream and a drizzle of peanut butter, and serve immediately.
